I can run all of the MSC files seperately (Devmgmt.msc, dfrg.msc, diskmgmt.msc, eventvwr.msc, perfmon.msc, secpol.msc, services.msc, wmimgmt.msc, IIS.msc) but not the compmgmt.msc. I have extracted a new compmgmt.msc into the system32 folder and still nothing. It just hangs when I run it.

I have gone into the security tab in wmimgmt.msc and allowed full access (including remote access) for my domain administrator, however access is still denied. Then I allowed full access (including remote access) to everyone and access is still denied. What could be wrong? How can I find out why access is denied?
